SPCIT India Association was founded on the day of 25th July 2000 in Mumbai with a group of senior cardiovascular technologists in guidance by Mr. Anil Mansukhani sir, and Mr. Vasant Kothavade sir was the first President of the Society. With the encouragement of the late director of Bard International (India), Mr. V M Kasim sir, and The Cardiological Society of India (CSI). They have recognized the need for a professional society to create and maintain professional standards, promote continuing education, and advocate for the invasive cardiovascular care team. The diversity of disciplines and highly skilled professionals complements and strengthens the ability to provide a high standard of patient care.
Since its inception, it has always been the SPCIT Endeavour to organize State and National meetings to educate cardiovascular professionals.
